PaisePath
A whole loan book, with collections first.
A finance application for lending businesses. It runs a whole loan book from one place: daily-collection, gold, vehicle and EMI loans, with a collection dashboard showing today's collection, active loans, pending and overdue amounts and the collection rate.

What it does
- 01
Several loan products
Daily-collection, gold, vehicle and EMI loans on one platform, each with its own schedule and rules.
- 02
Collection dashboard
Today's collection, active loans, pending and overdue amounts, and the collection rate at a glance.
- 03
Configurable eligibility
Eligibility rules vary by product and by lender, and are set rather than coded.
- 04
Repayment schedules
Schedules generated per product, not forced into one shape.
- 05
Interest calculation
Interest handled per product and per business.
- 06
One customer, many roles
A customer can hold different roles in different loans without being duplicated.
The problem
Lenders run on different rules, products and vocabulary. Software that hard-codes one lender's practices ends up forked for the next one.
The constraints
- Eligibility, repayment schedules, interest calculation and collections all vary by product and by business.
- The data model has to describe real people in several roles without repeating them across records.
How it was built
- 01
One platform, several loan products
Each product has its own schedule and rules, instead of a separate system per product.
- 02
Customers hold roles
A recent design decision replaced a fixed "Borrower" concept with a customer-plus-roles model, so one customer can hold different roles in different loans.
- 03
Collections-first reporting
Built for the people out in the field who need to know what is due today.
